I LOVE MY FAMILY-BE OBEDIENT- Sunday July 17 & 24, 2011

Wow I don't think I have been so excited to receive a letter like I was today!!! What an experience I don't really know what to say... Sounds like you enjoyed your time and Tate got to live his rodeo dream! I'm super excited all the family came to visit him and give him the support! We seriously have the best family in the world!!! I hope you can all rest and get everything all cleaned up from the trip and focus on the things at home!

Shad I'm so glad you enjoyed your scout camp I remember going and earning some of those same merit badges with Chase and we had a ball!  Your a stud and you just keep working on being an Eagle Scout! Speaking of Eagle Scout I don't think Tate should be driving... jajajaja BECAUSE HE STILL DOESNT HAVE HIS EAGLE!!!! haha the blessings of being the guinea pig and the oldest!  I wouldn't change it for the world!!! But really Tate get on that! Shad I love you buddy and miss waking up to you all snuggled up next to me at like 4 in the morning!

McCray I prayed every night the last 8 days that your horse wouldn't have her baby so you could be there and witness it! I'm glad to hear you'll be there to see the thing come out...jaja I sure love you champ and cant wait to go to college together!!!

Tate I sure am a proud brother here in Argentina and would really love to hear from you about your thoughts and feelings of the whole experience! I look up to you a lot for all your hard work and I'm 120 percent positive you are now faster stronger than I am and I wouldn't stand a chance if we wrestled! jajaja we will have to see how things look when you get old and fat on your mission! I love you champ!

Delanie your such a little cutie! I miss your laugh, scream and crying.... although I'm sure we could all live without the screaming and crying! jajaja I'm excited to baptise you in a year and a half and you just keep listening to mom and dad and saying your prayers at night time!!!

Dad I got your email about those missionaries in Germany and as amazing as that story was I couldn't help but think that I am one of missionaries and the miracles await us as we are obedient and strive to be worthy to have the spirit with us in every moment! I sure respect you and miss you and our long talks of life!

Mom I miss you! I'm not gonna lie yesterday I was reading my scriptures late at night when I couldn't sleep and the photo of you and I fell out and I couldn't help but get on my knees and thank my Heavenly Father for you and your sacred position in my life! Mom as I was praying it hit me that I'm never going to live at home again... I'm never going to be in the position where you and dad can tell me what to do andIi have to do it because your my parents... My entire time growing up I listened to your counsel and didn't think more than a couple minutes of it.... And as I prayed mom I had the strongest desires to have you and dad tell me thatIi can't go out with my friends and I need to be at home with the family.... This all hit me at once and I had a lot of thoughts and feelings but more than anything... Thank you for all you did and MAKE TIME FOR FAMILY TIME!!! HANG OUT! LAUGH!!!!! SMILE!!!!

I had another great week in Argentina! We are working hard and being obedient striving to have the spirit with us in all that we do! We had our first interviews with Pres. Carter and I was very 15 year old daughterwith him and his family! His wife has studied Spanish 6 months and speaks very well!  His 15 year old daughter is with him and starts her international school where they all speak English next week! I need you to do me one thing.... CHANGE MY FACE BOOK PASSWORD.... SAVE IT.... AND LET ME KNOW WHEN ITS DONE.... He asked each and everyone of us how our Obedience was and to write home and have you change it... Knowing you guys its already done but I just want to make sure! Please tell me next email if it is! I am excited to work with my new president and his family! We are getting closer to our baptismal dates on the 6th and working hard with them and ready to have other dates this week! One of my converts Marcela Deluqui lost her baby at 8 months and they had to take it out of her on Thursday and I have been super sick for her and we are praying to know what to say to her when we pass by tomorrow!

I received your package mom!!!! the one with toothpaste jajaja finally!!! It only took 2 weeks! I also received one from Cody and Lacey and I will be writing them today as well!!! IT IS KYREVS BIRHTDAY!!!!! Nana's letter was incredible and I will now write her the old fashion way jajaja! Jk its not old fashion and I enjoy hand written letters more!!! I hope to receive the other package soon! I honestly need only 2 things... I need sticky hair gel.... Its doesn't exist here.... if we don't have gorilla snot... then like some sticky bed head or something would be wonderful....And i would love some crest whitening stripes.... you can even buy them with my own money!!!! jaja

Well I  wanted to finish this letter with a thought I heard that has got me thinking.... We aren't humans having spiritual experiences but Spirits having a human experience! I pray that we can all strive to have these Spiritual Experiences more frequently...in fact enough that we begin to understand and feel what we used to feel ALL the time in Heaven... Can you imagine feeling the spirit in every second of everyday.... This is the goal.... Let us all pray and be obedient to obtain it!

WOW!!! I AM SO PROUD OF TATE!!! He is living his dream! I know he has been dreaming of doing that his entire life! Honestly I am one proud brother here in Argentina! It makes me so happy to hear that he is doing so well! I am really excited to here how all turns out!

Tate wow I'm so excited for you! You have the chance to show the Nation what you have been practicing for! Now I challenge you to get on your knees and thank your Heavenly Father for the things he has given you... the chance you have to be there, the talent he has helped you develop, the health you have, the health of your horse, a family who is so supportive and loving and drops everything to be there with you! If you will be humble and give the lord ALL the credit, and read the Book of Mormon, He will bless you like you cant imagine!!! I promise you this as a representative of Jesus Christ!!!

JAJA I cant stop Smiling!!! I am really happy for all of you to get to witness such a great time and enjoy this time as a family! Please remember to thank the Lord for all that is happening!!!

This week was another great week here in Earthly Paradise! I don't know why but this week was warm and lovely! All the kids are out for vacations... Every thing is reversed here... you guys are out for summer vacations and they are out for what would be your winter vacations for Christmas! For this reason we found a lot of people home this week to teach! Elder Schwaar and I are working great together, and are relying on the spirit to help us in this wonderful work! We have been 100 percent obedient and diligent and we have seen the blessings and have 5 baptismal dates for the 6th of August!

 The Cantero Family was a bus contact that Elder Castro and I did 2 weeks ago and we passed by their house and they truly were prepared to receive the gospel... They excepted a baptismal date the first lesson and agreed to be married the second lesson! Thursday we woke up at 5 and waited in a line till 9 so they could do their paper work! They will be married the 5th so they can be baptised the  6 of August with one of their sons Brandon who is 12 years old.

Our other 2 dates for baptism are a mom named Isabell and her son named Brandon as well! She has a lot of doubts and problems that we are working through but she loves our visits and has the desire to change her life... She smokes 1 pack a day of cigarillos but only has smoked 3 cigarettes in the last 4 days so she is doing really well!!! I stand all amazed at the things we can do when we have the help of the Lord!

I haven't received anything from you except that little paragraph for the Pioneer but I understand you are really busy helping Tate live his dream there in Wyoming and I cant wait to hear how it all turns out!!!

I don't want to alarm you or anything but our entire apartment is infested with Mites... We all started itching really bad and I would wake up in the middle of the night and take a shower because it helped me feel better.... and finally had to go to the doctor and they told us we all have mites... So we have to put everything we own... I MEAN EVERYTHING!!! In Black trash bags to kill them.. they can't live without light, and then we had to buy a cream to help the itching and pills to kill the mites... Luckily they will reimburse us! it was like 600 pesos per person! THE EXPERIENCES OF THE MISSION ARE SO MUCH FUNNER THAN NORMAL LIFE!! JAJA

I also wanted to share my testimony with you that I know that my Savior and Master lives, and we are building his kingdom here on the Earth! I know he loves us so much he restored his church and all the keys and ordinances we need to have eternal happiness... This is his church and he is guiding it through a living prophet Thomas S. Monson. I know that the Spirit is real and through him my relationship with my Heavenly Father is so much stronger! I know that without his spirit this work is impossible and nobody could know that the events of Joseph Smith really happened! I love this opportunity I have to share my Testimony, Smile and Gospel with all those who will listen and I am loving life and my mission!!!

PURIFY YOURSELF - SUNDAY, JULY 10, 2011

Thanks so much for your letter it is always such a treat to hear from you! Yeah last week was an amazing week and one I'll remember for my entire life! But this week was another amazing week here in this earthly paradise!!!

The weeks just seem to pass by faster and faster... And the work isn't slowing up, the life lessons don't stop and my heart is overflowing with joy!!! Elder Schwaar and I are a good team and we are going to develop a divine companionship! He is a boss at the piano! My favorite song in the world called ALL OF ME... by Jon Schmidt.... he knows by memory and its incredible.... Today we are going to the church and he is going to play while I study and write a few letters!

I just wanted to start off by telling McCray he is starting to get some meat on his bones and is looking good! Also, WOW Tate is really really ripped.... keep working buddy! I loved the pictures... was that shad jumping into the big pile of saw dust.....

So this week was normal we worked hard and got a lot done but I would really like to focus this letter on a few things that are specific.... Number 1...Isn't it crazy sometimes how a chain of little events lead to something major... I was reading in Helamen 10 when Nephi receives the sealing power from God... He is told that whatever he wants done here on the earth would be fulfilled... This got me thinking of the trust that God had in Nephi... He knew that Nephi wouldn't miss use this power and trusted him that all his acts would be in line with the works of the Lord!

 I then thought of how great that would be to have that kind of trust and relationship with the Lord and to have that kind of power! The next day in my studies I read a talk called Purifying Yourself.... It was written by a mission president to his son who was on the mission! It talks about how some missionaries have the ability to make EVERY SINGLE word that leaves their mouth be incredibly powerful and filled with the spirit... and other missionaries are just average and do great work and still have success.... The talk is a program designed to help missionaries teach with more power and have the spirit with them always! This was an answer to my prayers...I have been wanting to know how  I could develop this trust and confidence in the Lord so that he would bless me with his spirit in all aspects of my life and especially so that I could teach with more conviction and power! The talk teaches us that in order to have this spirit flowing from us in all moments we must be PURE!!! so we must Purify ourselves... We are already clean.... or we wouldn't be missionaries... but he is talking about the little things... Little things we do that detract the spirit!

The advice he gives us is to pray and fast about things that detract us from our missions and the spirit and then for 40 days pray with all the power of our souls to get rid of the habits and the things that detract and fill them with other habits and things that help us focus on the savior! So Elder Schwaar and I together fasted and prayed for 2 days last week to come up with a list of things that we would like to stop doing or things that distract the spirit! and also other habits that we would like to develop and things that will help us focus on the savior and our investigators! We are promised that if we pray for 40 days and try with all our might that after these 40 days we wont have desires to do these bad habits and we will have the good habits... we will have purified ourselves!!!

So as of today we are in day 3 and its super hard! Some of the things are super personal but I would like to share a couple of the things that I would like to leave being and a few of the things that I would like to pick up to replace them! I have wanted all my life to stop biting my nails... I thought I had it taken care of until like 3 months ago when I started up again and I'm back to my old self! I will stop for good in the next 40 days!

 I also have been known for being... Dramatic... As dad would say! And I want to stop that and say things how they are!!! Some things that I would like to put in place of these things is develop more the habit of praying to the Lord in all I do... I pray a lot as a missionary but I would like to consult with him in ALL that I do! I cant explain it... But I really want to gain a better relationship with my Father in Heaven....I also really want to use my agenda better... I always do my contacts...Because I know we are blessed for being diligent... But I don't take them as seriously as I should! I have a whole list of things that were prayed, meditated and fasted for that I know with help may develop more this relationship with my Father in Heaven so that I too can have the spirit flow from me in all that I do!

That was a little harder to explain than I thought and I hope it makes sense... But I am now out of time and just wanted to tell you I'm having the time of my life and I sure love my new companion! I am excited to get your packages! I have made a list of things that would be nice to have here that you could send me but i forgot it in the apartment! Ill send it next week and you can just make a list as well of the things that would be nice to have and if anyone asks if I need anything you can just tell them a few things from the list!

I love you all so much and I feel your love and support everyday!!!!

MIRACLES DO EXIST - Sunday, July 3, 2011

Familia Mio!!!

La verdad gracias por todo lo que hace! Estoy muy bendicido a tener una familia maravillosa como ustedes!!! Le Amo con todo me corazón!

Haha just thought i would start the letter off from my native tongue hear in Argentina!!! haha crazy!!! but wow I have a couple of miracles to share with you today!!!

Well to start off I have to tell more about the 4 Barbeito kids that were baptized like a month ago... Ezekiel 14... Gonzalo 11... Carolina 16 and Ludmila 9.... and what happened with them!!! They are little angles and the only members in their whole family... They have a tree house and they cut out a sign and made their tree house a church... the sign says La Iglesia de JesuCristo de los Santos de los Ultimos dias! haha what little kids do that... But anyways their grandpa has been in the hospital 3 weeks dying of cancer... Their grandma called them at 2 in the morning on Friday night and knowing that they were pure from being baptised called them to say a prayer for their grandpa who wasn't going to live through the night... They prayed over the phone to help their Grandpa! Any ways these 4 kids have changed so much and have had a huge impression on their family...

We had 2 baptismal dates with 2 of their cousins Benjamin y Gabriel Barbeito... they both had challenges this week to get baptised... Benjamin's grandma hates the Mormons and basically kidnapped him for 3 days so he couldn't talk to us... but his mom knowing the change in his cousins went and kidnapped him back! Gabriel who has a different mom... his mom didn't want him to get baptized... but honestly I felt like I was selling APX alarm systems again... We went over there and we honestly just basically didn't give her the chance to say no and explained to her that her son would be following the example of Jesus Christ and we were preparing all and she was invited and I know Elder Castro was called to be with me for this moment because he said just the right words to help her feel the spirit and remove all her doubts.... And then she proceeded to tell us she also had a 9 year old daughter Magaly, we didn't know about that she also wanted to get baptized... we never knew about this girl... so we called the assistants to get permission to baptise her without any assistance or having been taught... and they let me talk to our new mission president, Pres. Carter!!!! He asked me a few questions about the situation and they asked me what I thought... And I just told him I think it would be great to have them all get baptised the same day... whether we have to wait a week or two or do it tomorrow they should do it together.... Needless to say he gave us the permission to baptise her this week!!! The only difference of selling and missionary work is we have the spirit on our side hahaha!

Well the 3 kids were baptised Sunday after church and this is where the miracle came in... THE GRANDPA WHO WAS DYING OF CANCER 2 DAYS CAME TO THE BAPTISM TO SEE THE KIDS BE BAPTIZED AND THE DOCTORS CANT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH HIM!!!! Mom and Dad and anyone else who reads this... MIRACLES EXISTS!!!! And they are all according to FAITH!!! the grandma had the faith knowing her grand kids were pure from baptism to call and have them say a prayer.... and the kids having the faith of little angels prayed and literally LITERALLY HEALED THEIR GRANDPA!!!! This family will all be members of the church and always know that this is the true church!!! We are now teaching the aunt and uncle and the grandpa and grandma of these little kids!!! As I type this it brings tears to my eyes! I know this is the work of angels! I wouldn't change these experiences for anything in the world! I know that Christ lives and we are capable of miracles according to our faith and the will of the lord!!!!

Well along with all this Saturday night we received the news of the next transfer... and Elder Quackenbush was leaving.... I miss that kid so much! and so was ELDER CASTRO! He just arrived and now is leaving... Today Pres. Carter told me he knows Elder Castro was called to my area for something but he felt I needed to be with someone else... I then proceeded to tell him of the miracle that we experienced and how without Elder Castro the baptisms wouldn't have happened... with tears in his eyes he testified of missionary work and the power of the priesthood and revelation!!! Well he then proceeded to tell me I will be with an Elder named Elder Schwaar... Elder Schwaar is on the verge of going home.. he has been on the mission 1 year and cant keep his mind in the work... he wants to go home... So I am now with Elder Schwaar from Utah... He has 1 brother and 1 sister and loves to play the piano! I am super excited to show him that missionary work is fun and exciting!!! I am loving my mission and I really want him to stay out and enjoy it with me!!! So this transfer we are going to be having a lot of FUN!!!!

Sounds like all is great at home and Mom what a journey you had with those girls! I CANT WAIT TO GO CAMPING AS A FAMILY!!!! MCCRAY LETS START PLANNING!!!! YOU AND I ARE GOING TO COLLEGE TOGETHER!!! YOUR GOING TO ROOM WITH ME AND MY RETURNED MISSION FRIENDS!!!! YOUR GOING TO BE SO PREPARED FOR THE MISSION!!!!!

I gotta go but I love you and I'll be looking for the package!

FAREWELL TO PRES. AND SIS. BENTON - HELLO TO NEW COMP. ELDER CASTRO - SUNDAY, JUNE 26, 2011

Hey Family!!!

I hope all is well at home I am here again in the cyber writing the email for the week and I don't have one from you yet so I'll hope I get one before I need to go... We have to come much earlier now because all the kids got out of school for the winter and the cybers are always full... so if you could it would be good to write sooner... But it is all good I don't worry about a thing because II know mom is always on top of things!!!

Well I received my new comp... ( my hijo) His name is Elder Castro from Peru! He is 27 years old and doesn't look like it... He is the only member in his family and has only been a member of 2 years! WHAT FAITH!!! It really amazes me that 2 years ago he knew nothing and now he wants to share what he knows with others! He is a strong convert and I'm proud of the missionaries that taught him 2 years ago! He is a little different than Elder Balvin... Its always different when there are changes and hard to adjust but after a week I feel like we will be a good team! As for now I honestly can't understand him very good... I don't know if all the people from Peru speak like he does but it's REALLY DIFFERENT!!! It sounds like he has lived in China and In Canada but speaks spanish! It is a really high pitched whiny spanish and always says (ehhh) like in Canada! But on the other side of things he can't really understand the people of Argentina! It is crazy how much of affect the accent has depending where you live... I wonder how it will be when I try to speak with my friends after the mission! But just so you know Argentina spanish is hated in other countries because its the only country that speaks like we do... But I like being different and I think the language here is beautiful!!!

He came into the mission at a pretty hard time.... Its really cold here now... It's a cold that cant be beat.... and he wasn't prepared for that so he complains a lot... But I just don't say anything and I know he´ll figure out that by telling himself he is cold... will in fact make him colder! We have a little prob in the pench.... we don't have running water... so all the water we drink we buy... and we have to put it in a bucket and warm it up and share it to take sponge bathes... haha the adventures of the mission.... I might just shower every 2 days now because it is really hard to bathe myself and then try to get warm again...

I was super humbled this week... The families we are teaching practically live in card board houses... Honestly Mccray and Jake Walchli have made better forts than these houses.... When I begin to have a thought that I'm cold or we have it hard.... I look around and cant stand myself for even having these thoughts... They literally sleep on the cold mud floor with blankets... COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS!!!!!

But on another note we have a baptism this weekend of a teenage kid named Benjamin... He is a little model boy for a company called Narrow... His mom signed him up and now they have tons of money just because he has a good face!!! Haha! Reminds me a lot of Justin Bieber!!!! He is such a humble kid and realizes he is blessed and wants to be more humble and help other people! He is a stud and wants to help us do service... We are teaching other families and should have more fetches this week!!! On a REALLY GOOD NOTE... 26 of my 31 converts were in church today even though it was FREEZING!!!! I'm such a happy kid that they are still active!!!!!!!!I

President Benton leaves in 3 days and this week we went to say goodbye and all got to take pictures with them... he is a special man... I wouldn't be surprised if he is called to be a seventy or maybe even a 12! I cant wait for the day you get to meet him!!!! The last advice he gave us was about our future wives and the things we can and cant do.. the things they should and shouldn't have.... it was interesting this was his last advice.... But it was very useful and I'll pull out these notes in 1 year and a half!!! AHHHH can you believe I will complete 6 months in the mission this week? I honestly can't believe it and its going by way to fast! I still have so much to do and way to much to learn! I have written in my journal every single day so I can share my sacred experiences with you guys when I return!!!!

Querida Familia

So I'm at the cyber a little earlier today we came at 1 instead of 4 and I haven't received a letter from you yet so I pray that all is good with you! I know you had a busy week getting the stuff finalized with the trek and I have been praying as well that all went as planned and the Trek to Martins Cove was enjoyed for all those who went! I also know the boys had state rodeo this weekend and I have been thinking about them a lot and all their preparation and I hope it all payed off and they were able to enjoy their state rodeo!

So as you know this was my final week with elder Balvin and as we speak he is eating lunch with his family in Peru! He flew out this morning at 6! We had a very very special week and I wanted to dedicate it to DAD FOR FATHERS DAY!!! FELIZ DIA DE PADRE POPS!!! We baptized the 5 Rodriguez kids this weekend... the miracle family that we found 2 weeks ago! It was an amazing day... PRESIDENT BENTON and HERMANA BENTON came to visit... so special because they only have 10 days left on their mission and for them to take the afternoon and come visit us was very special... Their time is very precious now! They picked up the kids and the mom up in his SUV and brought them to the baptism... they had never been in such a nice vehicle and prob. wont ever get that chance ever again! Javier y Lucia aren't going to get baptised because their dad is so so Catholic... I had a realization this week... I used to think that Satan was the cause of everything when something went bad... But sometime we need to think that the Lord has his hands in it all too and maybe it just wasn't the time for them to receive this sacred ordinance! Yamilla wasn't able to do her interview this weekend so we will shoot for this upcoming weekend!

And now the news you prob. have been waiting to hear... Who will be my comp for the next little while... well I'm in a trio with Elder Quackenbush and Elder Salazar... But only until tomorrow when I receive my Hijo!!! In the mission when an Elder trains another Elder who is just coming into the mission he is called el Padre and the new elder is his Hijo or Son... Yeah that is right I will be training a new missionary... President Benton after the baptism this weekend had his final interview with Elder Balvin and after called me into his office and told me he was trusting me with this responsibility and he feels very strongly that I need to be his comp even though I only have 4 months in the mission... Missionaries don't train until they have a year in the mission... for example Elder Goodworth just received his hijo this transfer... Elder Quackenbush hasn't trained yet and he has 14 months in the mission.... although I'm sure he will next transfer! I feel overwhelmed because the success of the area depends on my work and what I teach him and all that is included in training... But I know that Pres. Benton is called of God to receive revelation for the mission and I'll do what he asks me to do!!! I don't know who he is or where he is from but I'll find out tomorrow!!!
So President Benton leaves in 10 days and we will miss him so much,,, we watched a video on the numbers and all that has changed since he has been here and everything has doubled if not tripled... He really has done miracles in the mission!!! He told us that he feels that things will only grow with Pres. Carter but he needs our help and Obedience to make it possible.. This Thursday we are going to have a big reunion to say goodbye to Pres Benton and eat and all this should be a great time!!! Pres. Carter I have a feeling will change a lot of things and drop the Cain on Obedience!!! Oh speaking of Obedience... we received a message from Pres. Benton and his main topic was Obedience and he focused on Face Book... PLEASE CHANGE MY PASSWORD... if you haven't already done it... and then write it down so you wont forget it please.. because Pres. Benton told us its important to have one after to keep in touch with your converts and give them words of encouragement... PLEASE!
I sure hope you have a fun time in California this weekend and take lots of photos... Oh I  received your package of photos and it only took 10 days to get here so that was really good! Thanks so much it was SO SO SO good to see them and show them to my comp and all my investigators! The announcements are really awesome and its great to see them all.... I heard Allen Messick has his papers in so you'll have to tell him congrats and let me know where he goes! I don't know what beach you'll be at but Elder Quackenbush wants me to give you his address in case you happen to be close to talk to his mom... so here it is.... her name is Cheryl as well and I hope you get the chance to talk about your beloved missionaries!!!
Mom we had our interviews with Pres. Benton this week and one thing he told us to do is to have our moms keep an eye on who they think we should marry... So if you see someone who you think would be good for me in a short year and a half... Pres. Benton said if she is good in the eyes of your mom she is good in the eyes of the lord! So keep an eye out and send me any inspirations you feel!!! haha haha

I love you all and I just received your emails Mom and Dad and I was hoping to get to chat with you live for a few min... but wow it was a crazy week huh? HAHAHA the life of the FOSTERS!!!! I dont have much time now but CONGRATS TATE!!! when are nationals? where are nationals? and are you ready to step up your game?

I love you all so much and look forward to your email next week to see how you are all doing and to tell who will be my hijo and how the work continues!

P.S. its been great talking to you mom! I hope you like the pictures... the knife one is a joke.. when a missionary leaves they say they die... and the missionary that they are with they say that you kill them... so for this reason I have a knife getting ready to kill Elder Balvin as he packs his bags!
I have gotten a lot of comments I look like the actor of super man so I took this photo with Elder Balvin acting like superman... but with my 200 baptism shirt on that we got for reaching 200 baptisms!!!

LAST WEEK WITH ELDER BALVIN - JUNE 12, 2011

Hey Fam!!!

Sounds like the summer has begun and your not going to slow down for anything, BIEN AHI!!!! haha some Spanish for ya! I'll start out by telling you that Elder Balvin and I andtwo other companionship's went to the LUJAN ZOO this morning and wow it literally is a thril, the lions and tigers come and rub up against your legs like house cats do, it was quite an adventure.

We have our bikes now so we got up and showered and rode them to the zoo and arrived there at 9 when it opened! I will have to say the first time I went I was spoiled because we didn't get to kiss a bear or cuddle with the cubs this time but it is still so so so FUN!!!

This weekend Saturday and Sunday was stake conference here but not just any stake conference, it was a stake conference broadcasted for all of Argentina. You wont believe who spoke, Elder Boyd K Packer and Elder Christopherson, such good talks. Elder Packer talked about the importance of the holy ghos, he taught us that if us as missionaries don't confirm those who we baptise its useless and its like we are baptizing bags of flour - very straight forward.

I am so grateful for the spirit and his constant work testificandanos sobre la verdad de todas las cosas,  haha I just typed that in Spanish without even thinking so I'll leave it and just tell you it means testifying to us the truth of all things.

Elder Balvin and I are working really hard just like Elder Lopez and I were doing but it is much easier with the bikes, we had a great week teaching our investigators and being apart of their lives, that is what I love is that we visit them every single day and they look forward to our visits and we become part of their lives.

We are teaching Familia Rodriguez who have 5 children,  Patricia 13,  Rosio 11,  Ailen 10, Jorge 9 and Adolfo 8... they are progressing and should all be baptized this weekend. Well maybe not Adolfo,  we are not sure what to do, he has a speech problem and can't talk in a way that we understand him so we don't know how he will pass his interview... but he understands and can point and stuff.

We also have Javier and Lucia who we have been teaching for a month now and they are so so so ready but we are having troubles with the parents.. they are never home and when they are they are too busy to talk to us, but we need their permission to baptize their kids. We talked to the mom and she is fine with it cause the kids like to go to the church but she still needs to talk to the dad because he is so so catholic and doesn't believe they need baptized again, we are praying he will understand and that we can have his support for this weekend as well.

I don't remember if I told you about Santiago who is a member and was preparing to go on a mission and got his girlfriend pregnant so now he can't go and we are teaching his girlfriend - well she is progressing great and we want to baptize her this weekend as well so Elder Balvin can see it but she doesn't feel ready yet so we are going to pass by every day to help her feel ready.

The work is going great and we are super busy, andI wouldn't have it any other way!!!

Also I don't remember if I told you that this is President Benton's last transfer so he has three weeks left,  President Carter arrives in two weeks and only has a week to learn from President B. and then he will learn from the assistants.

Tomorrow I have my last interview with President Benton and then his last week he will visit each zone to say good bye... Ugh Mom I honestly can't imagine how that must feel, I don't want that day to come, I love this people and I love my mission with all the fabrics of my heart, I still have so much to do and to learn and so many more people to help.

I have been thinking about my friends at home and on their missions and I pray every night they too are preparing to love this work and loving this work like I do here in Argentina! Honestly time is going by way to fast and I want it to slow down a bit, all I know is I have to continue to better myself and work hard.

Well this is about all for this week... the next time I write I wont be with Elder Balvin at my side, I will be with either my next comp or in a trio with Elder Quackenbush and Elder Salazar until the end of the transfer.

I am so grateful for your letters mom and the time you take to write me! It really means a lot and I want you to know your time is well spent because I leave the computer cyber with a bigger smile and desire to share with others why our family is so happy and so amazing!!! Thanks for all you do!!!!

HOLA FAMILIA MIO!!!!

Hey first off thank you so much for your prayers because my scriptures were returned to me this Sunday!!! I feel SO much better now that i have my own scriptures to teach and study! I don't have much time again because yes mom Elder Balvin and I went to Parke de Loguir and Moron this Pday to visit his converts! He is a stud and definitely left his mark here in Argentina! The day he leaves for Peru is the 20th of Junio and so we have 2 more weeks to work together! I don't look forward to the day he leaves and he hasn't shown much emotion either he is a hard worker and will work till the second he steps foot on the plane! What an Example for me...

I went to Capital this week to do my passport for Argentina and it was GIGANTIC!!! SO MANY PEOPLE!!!!! And it was a whole day process with alot of waiting time to do some contacts and small lessons!!! the best part was WE ATE AT MCDONALDS!!!!! I sat there eating my 10 dollar cheeseburger and 5 dollar fries thinking of the hundreds of times i sat with my friends laughing and having a good time and now we are all over the world teaching the most important message in the world!!! I pray that they are living their sacred missions and will allow this experience to change their lives... What a day when we will sit at McDonald's again and share the life changing experiences in the Dominican, Peru, Philippines, Argentina, Mexico, Australia, and Korea!!! Oh by the way i have the address of Elder Richins, Elder Huntsman and Elder Jolley but only i need Elder Bono, Elder Hawker, and Elder Higham! It was great to get the Email from Elder Richins and hear he is doing so good! I wrote him and Elder Huntsman letters i sure hope they get them!!! It was interesting to read that they wait 3 lessons to invite to be baptized!!! We have been taught to EVERYONE TO BE BAPTISED!!!! In every contact, short lesson, and lesson!!!

It was great to hear your stories this week... Mom sounds like it was a success your retreat and that doesn't surprise me cause you worked so hard on it!!! Dad keep up the work on the food i need to follow your example or I'm going to come back a gordito! Tate keep working hard to build up your spiritual muscles! it is just like your legs or arm muscles... if you don't use them or exercise them or push them to their limits they aren't going to grow... in fact they will die!!! How do we do this you might ask... We always tell our investigators they have to read the scriptures and pray after to allow the holy ghost to testify to us that the things are true! I am so thankful for the work of the holy ghost to help us know these things and bring us peace! I'm glad your going through the trials you are because just like in the sports world... No pain No gain... Like the sons of Mosiah if we are patient and go through our trials with a smile it will be for our own good and we will have success!! Mccray sounds like your enjoying life and keeping it real clean and sexy! Shad is just my little stud and Delanie I'm sure is spoiled and loving it!!!

Words cant describe the feelings i want to share but after 6 weeks of wrestling head on with Satan in the life of Grover Mamoni he was baptised this weekend and it was def. one of my favorite Baptisms we have had yet... We also Baptised a family of 3 kids Ezekiel, Ludmilla and Shanea Tastaca! The other elders in Rodriguez Baptized a Dad with his 2 girls as well and it was an amazing service! 7 Baptisms and a whole lot of people in white!!! And i have no idea why but all the members came and so we had 80 people in 1 servicio bautismal! I Love the Argentine people... I don't even think i want to live in the United States...

Elder Balvin and I have been praying every morning and night to find a family to baptise before he goes home and we found the answer to our prayers! We were in the middle of nowhere looking for a reference and we found a little poor family from Paraguay and they have 9 kids! We had some fun lessons with kids and Sunday brought them brownies and pancakes and 6 of them came to church with us! We stopped by later that night and had a fun spiritual lesson with them and now 5 of them have baptismal dates for the 18th the last Saturday before Elder Balvin goes home... As well as Javier and Lucia 2 other kids from Bolivia who are progressing as well! We are working with Marilin and Ariel that they can as well be baptized this day! This work is amazing and we are witnessing a miracle here in Rodriguez... In my 3 months here the assistance has shot from 70 to 150 and will soon be a ward! I feel so blessed to be apart of this and I know all the blessing only come from 100 percent obedience with exactness!!!!

Mom i thought of a few things you could add into those packages if you could please... i would really like my line of authority to show the people that we have a direct line from Jesus Christ.. I don't think we realize the power that we have!!! Also I realized that from all the orange soda my teeth are not as white anymore and they don't sell good toothpaste here.. so some crest toothpaste and some whitening strips would be amazing but if not don't worry about it I can worry about that when i get home!!!!

All in all it was another Amazing week in the Sacred mission of Elder Foster and Elder Balvin.
